MERSETA Discretionary Grant – Be a part of closing the skills gap

The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (MERSETA) is inviting stakeholders to apply for discretionary grants for the 2024/2025 financial year (1st Funding Window) for learnerships. 18027 training interventions are available to both levy and non-levy paying employers.

The closing date for applications for the first window is 29 February 2024.

We have aligned learnerships in response to MERSETA for this funding window.

Learnerships earn points on the BEE Scorecard under both Employment Equity and Skills Development. Further, companies are eligible for a SARS Tax Rebate if the learnership is registered with the Department of Labour and the agreements are SETA registered.
