At SA Business School, we have made Wellness a top priority because we understand, above all, that in order to provide world-class service to our clients we must start by providing world-class service to our staff. All employees – from the MD to the newest member of staff – make use of our in-house Wellness Clinic. The ongoing care as well as tailor-made health care initiatives ultimately benefit both employee and employer and ensure that at SA Business School we have the happiest and healthiest staff.
THE IMPACTFULL IN-HOUSE WELLNESS PROGRAMME INCLUDES:
A FULL-TIME NURSE
SA Business School’s in-house nurse consults with an average of 220 patients a month. All SABS staff members make their own appointments and all medical information is strictly confidential.
FREE LICENSED DISPENSARY
Provides lifesaving medications, including chronic medications to control blood pressure etc.
COUNSELLING & 24 HOUR CALL CENTRE
SABS staff have access to their choice of telephonic or face-to-face counselling offering professional support on personal matters relating to; Legal Aid, Stress- Management, Financial Advice, HIV/AIDS Therapy, Addiction Counselling, Family Matters & Trauma Counselling. There is also disability awareness and HIV training for all staff. Plus, any assistance with hospital admissions, when necessary.
FOCUSED WELLNESS DAYS
These well-attended days include voluntary blood drives, free glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol testing, BMI, HIV/Aids Testing and quarterly Sieff Eye Testing. Other significant offerings include Flu Vaccines and Level 1&2 First Aid Training, as well as fire-fighting courses.
