Services SETA Discretionary Grant – Create Maximum Impact for your training plan

The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SSETA) is inviting stakeholders to apply for discretionary grants for the 2024/2025 financial year for learnerships. With over 13000 training interventions available through the SA Business School Program offering, we assist both levy and non-levy paying employers with their DG applications.

The closing date for applications for the first window is 30 April 2024.

We have aligned the following learnerships in response to Services SETA’s skills gaps for this funding window:

Skills Gaps Proposed learnerships:

  • QCTO Project Management – NQF Level 5 – 12 – 18 months.
  • RPL Contact Centre Qualification – NQF Level 2 & 4 – 6 months.

SA Business School is able to assist your company with:

  • Skills programs for both Unemployed Learners and Employed Learners
  • Learnership programmes for Unemployed Learners and Employed Learners.

Learnerships earn points on the BEE Scorecard under both Employment Equity and Skills Development. Further, companies are eligible for a SARS Tax Rebate if the learnership is a registered with the Department of Labour and the agreements are SETA registered.

  • We’ll assist with the onerous and mandatory compliance documents required.
  • We’ll provide Grant Application Submission Assistance on NSDMS.
